Since the foundation of UAE Society of Engineers, one of their objectives is to rehabilitate the engineers’ professional skills by providing training courses, seminars, conferences, etc. The continuous increase of the engineers working in the UAE is the main factor why in 2003 UAE Society of Engineers finally recognizes the need to build a Training & Development Center that will focus on the professional development of the engineers in the UAE.

Progressive Management in Training & Development Center
From 2003 to 2008 Training & Development Center becomes a success as the center continuous to conduct numerous training courses, seminars, conferences and forums. The center also focuses in organizing international training courses were the engineers in the UAE interacts and communicates with the other engineers in the GCC and other countries.
FIDIC, Arbitration, Primavera, QPM, PMP, Construction Contracts, Etabs, BOQ and HVAC are just some of the training courses that the center provides. There are now 44 Engineering Courses, 11 IT Courses and 64 Technical and Management Courses that is currently offered by the center and expected to increase in the coming years.
The Training and Development Center collaborates with different organizations, private companies and government sectors to produce a seminar that will be valuable to all the engineers to be aware of the latest technologies that is offered in the UAE market.

Achievements in the International Accreditations
It was in September 2007 when UAE Society of Engineers – Training & Development Center finally emerges and starts another training and development renaissance as they enter an agreement with Pearson VUE to become their Authorized Test Center and deliver their examinations with a most comprehensive and secure network. In October of the same year, UAE Society of Engineers signed another agreement with Pearson VUE to upgrade their status to be PVTC Select where they can now carry out professional examinations like GMAT, RCP, APICS and etc.
In July 2007 the Training and Development Center becomes Adobe Authorized Training Center and in February 2008 - ICDL (International Computer Driving License) Authorized Training Center. The center also aims to develop the technological and computer expertise of the individuals.
Training and Development Center was certified to be PMI (Project Management Institute) Global Registered Education Provider in 2007. The center delivers a Project Management Professional course were engineers and other individuals participates to achieve an international certification, develop their project management knowledge and skills, enhance their competitive advantages and professionalism.

As UAE Society of Engineers is now moving to its new building in Al Mamzar, Dubai, the Training and Development Center will now cater high standard training facilities, wide spaces of training classroom and laboratories, numerous computers and soothing environment.
